I know that with all anti-anxiety medication you are not supposed to drink alcohol. I really miss having an occasional glass of wine.
Can I drink 1 glass of watered down wine... say a white wine spritzer and still be OK?
I know it would increase sedation but does it ruin your liver?
Please advise
BuSpar - Can you drink (1 glass of watered down wine)?

No one on at least psychotropic medications should not drink alcohol at all. For me, my anxiety is such that taking my medication and feeling better is my personal oath. I have been so miserable with anxiety that taking a watered down glass of wine or any alcohol is just not worth the chance of messing up the way my medication works. Also, alcohol alone can damage your liver so I'd imagine mixed with medication, it would make the chance increase for liver damage.
I would say yes. One glass of wine won't have a significant reaction although a whole bottle might. Just stay safe and enjoy your glass of wine without worrying about it.
Goddess; Really like you said it may just make the Buspar a bit stronger but just a glass of wine and try to keep it a few hours from the Buspar if you can you well be just fine. It does not do any more damage to the liver than just the one glass of wine would. Enjoy just use with caution.

It should be fine as long as you are not driving.
Hi Goddess-
There is a 'Interactions Check' on this web site at the top of the page. Put in Alcohol and Buspar and you will have the information you need to make an educated decision :)
