I had protected sex on 11/30 using a condom, but at that time I was not on birth control because my prescription expired. Within the following days I went to clinic to get a new prescription and begin taking my birth control pills that same day 12/5. I should have gotten my period naturally on 12/17 (I would just be starting week 3 of the active pills). I have not gotten my period yet as of today (12/20). Is this because of the birth control? Will I get my period during the inactive pills?

Answers
You should get your period on the inactive pills. Did you use protection for the time you didn't have pills and the first 7 days of the pill, as this is a new start basically.
Thank you! Yes, I haven't had sex since 11/30
