I recently started on 10mg of escitalopram (live in the UK) for 4 weeks and 3 days ago I upped to 15 mg for severe GAD which causes panic and periods of depression. I was wondering what dosage others found most beneficial for tackling GAD as most of my issues stem from that and my perfectionism? Hence why I'm trying to find the 'perfect' dose!
I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi, Katie!
The most beneficial dose is the one that controls your symptoms. Everyone responds differently to medications so what is effective for one person may not be for another.
10mg is a good initial and maintenance dosage for escitalopram but there is room for an increase if needed.
"Usual Adult Dose for Generalized Anxiety Disorder:
Initial dose: 10 mg orally once a day; increase if necessary after at least 1 week of treatment to 20 mg once a day
Maintenance dose: 10 to 20 mg orally once a day
Maximum dose: 20 mg orally once a day"
I’m on 15mg for the last four weeks and it seems to help me with my GAD. Give it time. Hope this helps
Also you have to give the increase dose time to work. Maybe not the full 8 weeks but it takes time.
