What can I expect going forward? Also, what is the very best antacid on the market that works? I have tried so many on the market and I get minimum results. I will know more on October 7th 2020 after speaking more in-depth with my surgeon.

It is not so much the antacid you use, but the diet that you follow. Everyone is different. My trigger point is spicy foods to avoid. I take Esomeprazole which has Magnesium in it, just like Regular Nexium. I was taking Omeprazole, and it was cheaper but did nothing for me because it did not have the Magnesium in it. We are supposed to avoid caffeine, but I like my Columbian Coffee. I am a big coffee drinker. It actually settles my food after a meal. At times I get a weird feeling in my throat, but it comes and goes. I have no trouble swallowing, as some others do. I hope you find a happy medium to control your Barrett"s.
How are you doing now? I hope your Dr. was able to help you find the right medication. I have been on pantoprazole since 2018. There are pros and cons to taking it and I've had concerns. The bottom line is B.E. is a pre cancerous condition. That outweighs my concerns though there are times that I question everything. Take care and enjoy your weekend.
