There trouble with my pharmacy and my insurance, and it took a week to resolve, rsulting in me getting my perscription 2 days late. My doctor advised me to use the 4 week method without taking a week break, so instead of 28 days, i had it in for 30. How much does this effect its protection? I plan on seeing my boyfriend in 2 days- Must we use backup protection for the next week?

I would wait until I had the ring back in for a week before I had sex without a condom.
