I battled hives and angioedema beginning in 1995. They lasted about a year, then disappeared. Then, in 2012 they came back! I was diagnosed with Hashimotos Hypothyroidism in 2013. I was put on Synthroid and the hives got better and went away about a year. Then they just kept coming once or twice a year for 3-4 months each episode. Now it’s 2021, and it’s still happening. I don’t eat gluten, dairy, soy, peanuts, or red meat now. However, it seems as if it doesn’t matter what I eat, I still get hives and have had two episodes of angioedema this week! I can’t keep taking Benadryl, Allegra, and xyzal each day! I’m tired, depressed, foggy, have headaches from the stress!!! I’m interested in maybe xolair, but not sure if I want the side effects. I read cancer is one? I even get huge whelps on my buttocks if I sit on hard stuff. It’s like pressure gives them to me. Clothes, even cotton, give them to me. Tight clothes, loose clothes, it doesn’t matter- I get them. Usually always happens in my sleep at night. I wake up like a mutant! Any advise? Anyone out there like me??
I have AutoImmune Urticaria. How much weight gain with Xolair when taken every 6 weeks?

I am not a medical professional but I also have similar issues as you, particularly with the pressure stuff. I get it from wearing any clothes, shoes, even laying down in bed too long.
My doctor diagnosed me with Delayed Pressure Urticaria. I have been suffering from this for a while and only recently I agreed with their decision to try me on Xolair. Hesitant due to cost - not covered by any form of insurance. It has been a few weeks, I am still suffering, but admittedly it is not as bad as it was last month. It may not be what you have, but worth looking into.
