Psychotic breaks is a serious side affect of Adderall and every Pharmacy should attach a drug information form along with the medicine and it will say it in the form.BiPolar is now being treated with Adderall. It is a new treatment and they say it helps people with BiPolar.BiPolar and Schizophrenia can be misdiagnosed but if you have Schizophrenia Adderall will cause Psychotic breaks.
What is the most effective medicine for Biopolar states & ADHD (adult)? That's a good one. One medicine would lower the dopamine & the other increase it? Need a pharmacologist here. Palease.
I am very curious myself to any answers on this one, as I am currently on lamictal (for mild bipolar) and my doctor is considering which medication would be best to treat my ADD in conjunction with the lamictal.
adderall definitely should not cause pschotic breaks. the person that you may be talking about might have adhd AND bi-polar disorder. its not rare. in a lot of cases with people with adhd also have bi-polar disorder.
