I have been prescribed 0.5mg of Clonazepam twice a day along with 30 mg of Mirtazepine at night for Depression and anxiety.But do not feel fully relaxed or comfortable. Will 1 mg of Ativan help me get rid of the restlessness I feel during the day if taken as a SOS .I also have Primary open angle glaucoma & hypertension.
Can I take Ativan 1mg while taking Clonazepam 0.50 mg X 2 & 30 mg Mirtazepine?

Hello flotsam,
You should be fine; however, combining your medications will increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. You may also experience some impairment in thinking and judgment.

Dear pamee you are so helpful thanks for your encouragement and concern.My doctor has helped me enormously but sadly my son and daughters are not concerned and are always passing negative remarks.which hurt terribly. But I am gratefull for friends like you. God bless you and keep you happy. Denis

Hello Denis,
I understand how you feel about your own childern not caring, but I believe they do. Our kids just don't say it or show their concern the way we would like. If they make negative comments just turn it into a positive thought right away. They care, they just dont know how to show it. How old is your son and daughter?

My son an,daughter are grown up and have families of their own, I live with my son but pay for my keep, plus expenses as I am entitled to a life long pension. Which is adequate for my expenses.

That's wonderful to be living with your son. My children are all grown as well with their own families, but would love to have all my kids live with me.. crazy I know lol.. my peace be with you :)
