I have psoriatic arthritis and just started methotrexate. Have a lot of joint pain. Any suggestion on calming the pain?

I was told by rheumatologist that I can take tylenol, but now aspirin or ibuprofen. That's about all I know, I have been taking methotrexate for about 2 months now. I don't care for tylenol, but that's what I am left with.
Jacque, you certainly need to ask your Dr. about this. You might be better with another type of anti-inflamatory drug. You will find just starting out you might have to change your treatments several times before finding what works for you. Methotrexate might not do it alone. I to have PSA and I have struggled for years before finding what works for me... have patience and work with your Dr. hopefully a rheumatologist...
