I’m coming upto 7 weeks of being on 20mgs citalopram. I’m still getting the nerve tingling through my body. Just wandered if anyone has experienced the same at this stage. Everyone keeps saying to keep going it should start improving. I just can’t wait for the day that I wake up & I don’t have this anymore.
Has anyone had this at the same stage of weeks on 20 mgs of citalopram?

For what's it's worth it might be paresthesia, a side effect that causes tingling, burning, or prickly sensations but at 7 weeks it's unusual to still have side effects.
Aside from that do you feel that you're making progress... improvements?
I don't remember... have you been taking the 20mg all along or did you have a dosage increase? Have you asked your doctor about the tingling sensations?
Thanks for replying wildcatvet. I’ve had a dosage increase. It’s usually if I’ve been over thinking about something I’m anxious about, even writing this has made me have nerve tingling. I take it is anxiety. I’ve got to ring my doctor in a week to let her know how I’m doing. Some times I feel better. I’m OK if I go out. I’ve had 3 occasions where I thought the tablets had kicked in, the last 4 days it’s got worse again. I went in a shop today I was speaking to a member of staff, was OK for little while & then got hot flushes & wanted to go outside. I know u have said b4 it’s a roller coaster. I was just after some reassurance.
