I suffer from terrible RLS and have tried multiple different meds and supplements. A friend recomended L-Theanine has this worked for anyone else?
Has anyone felt any relief from restless leg syndrome with taking L-Theanine?

I don't know about the supplement for restless leg syndrome. It may sound silly but if you place a nice dry bar of soap under your bottom sheet, near your leg area, it does help with RLS. I've done it as well as my daughter's and my family siblings!!
Oh and it doesn't matter what brand name of soap you use. I have no idea on how this helps but I know it does!!
Good Luck
L-tryptophan and 5-HTP worked great for me. But they pooped out after a year. But it might give you relief for a year, and perhaps won't poop out on you as it did for me. I am on Mirapex and it works and thinking of going back and forth from Mirapex to 5-HTP every time 5-HTP poops out. Perhaps after a while, it will work again. I also benefited from Neurontin, but that pooped out on me.
I have just tried L-theanine and it works very well!
yes, I tried everything too. Rubs, meds, creams everything I could think of. Home remedies didn't work either. I finally found relief. I bought an oil from a reputable company and I put 5 drops under my tongue at night, held it for 90 seconds and there has not been even 1 hint of a RLS incident. This was in August 24th. , not quiet 4 months ago. I can sleep. I had it for many, many years. It's organic, no fillers and no GMO. 100% organic, grown in KY and shipped to around 130 countries and all US states. Please message me. RLS will drive one crazy.
I would like to know what this product is, as I am withdrawing from Tramadol & RLS is interfering with my sleep. I've tried l-theanine and magnesium, but they don't seem to help much. Before Tramadol yoga and T.R.E. helped a lot.
I have had RLS my entire life, I am 50 years old, it got much worse in recent years so I had to start taking dopamine agonists. I just weaned off Mirapex ER (again) to kind of see where my baseline is to see if I can try something homeopathic. Though I have tried absolutely everything under the sun in the past, and nothing works. I have a pretty severe case of primary RLS, and I’m now noticing that two out of my three children also have it. They don’t need medication, and are too young at this point. I only started taking medication in my late 30s. I’m so tired of the side effects. I have literally been through every single possible drug for RLS. All are unpleasant in one way or another. Is the oil you tried the one that contains L-Thiamine? I tried copaiba oil last night, it only made it worse. Unbearable actually. Thank you for your input.
I would like to know what this product is please... i suffer horribly with RLS
I FOUND what works and it has been over a year now that I have had RLS. Hempworx CBD OIL. One bottle at 69.00 lasts me 3 months. 5 drops under tongue AM, hold for 30-60 seconds, swallow what was not absorbed (it has around 97% absorbency) repeat at night. It works for me. RLS was driving me crazy. Now it's completely gone.
Hello, I have used l - theanine 200mg in combination with liquid ionic magnesium also 200mg or 5 ml before bed with good results, also helps promote a calmness that can help with sleep induction. My rls is now mild to moderate so please don't expect a miracle but it is cheap enough to try out for a few weeks.
l-theanine is also useful if you take with coffee or caffeinated beverages to calm any jitters while allowing clean a feeling of energy. Good luck.
I have 0 RLS now. Not even a hint of it.
