I just completed a mastectomy and experienced a lot of small to large infections of the wound area resulting in a very slow healing. My surgeon says it is because of the Xeljanz, and I say that I had an infection. Finally, I had a breakout of cellulitis and had to be put on a midline catheter with a strong antibiotic. Now my wound is healing very fast with the antibiotic. Has anyone experienced this with a surgery? Has anyone seen a study regarding drugs like Xeljanz interfering with healing?
Has anyone experienced Xeljanz causing slow healing after surgery?
