... depression. I have read a lot of negative reviews here about it, but I have done well on it. Although, it has not done much for my anxiety. If I could find something to control my anxiety, I feel like I would almost have my life back.
Does anyone take something for anxiety along with Cymbalta?

Hi, Gimme!
Three options that come to mind might be a benzodiazepine like Klonopin but you might have trouble getting a prescription. Because of the side effects and the risk of addiction fewer and fewer doctors are prescribing them.
There's a medication called buspirone (BuSpar) which is specifically for anxiety that helps many people but it's like a 50/50 chance because for others it does nothing.
You could switch to a different antidepressant/anxiolytic but you might not want to stop the Cymbalta if it's working well for your depression.
Not the best of choices I guess but it may give you something to discuss with your doctor.
Happy New Year!
PS, I'm taking the buspirone along with my antidepressant and it works very well for me.
I take 225-250 mg of lamotrigine (generic for Lamictal)
It worked for me with while taking 60 mg of duloxetine (generic for Cymbalta).
