I've been on Paxil now for about 6 weeks and I'm having trouble falling to sleep at night I take my 20 milligrams of Paxil around 9:30 every night I'm wondering if this is keeping me up at night maybe I should take it in the morning
I was having the same problem on 20 milligrams I dropped down to 10 milligrams still having problems sleeping at night I take the pill in the morning at night I take a sleeping pill to help me fall asleep I kind of don't like this job because I'm having sexual side effects from it amongst a couple other things going to talk to the doctor about switching my medication hope this helps you
Great answer from Janie; When I used to take this I always took it in the morning and because it makes you not want to sleep it may help you stay a bit more alert during the day. The main thing is to keep taking it about the same time each day don't keep changing it back and forth once you change it to morning keep it there. Have a great weekend.
Hi Slick-
If you feel it is keeping you from sleeping, take it in the morning as early as you can.
Hope your sleep improves soon :)
