Not sure what happened. I can't sleep on sertraline and want to try escitalopram, does anyone know how it compares/works in relation to citalopram please? I didn't do very well on citalopram. Thank you.

Hi, I’m new here too. I’ve been taking Sertraline for 5 days now and my sleep is terrible too!
My GP has prescribed me a few sleeping pills to get me through the next few days.
I have very bad anxiety, so I’ll stick with Sertraline until it kicks in.

Hi, Carrieleon!
Have you talked to your doctor about your insomnia? You may have some options.

Thanks a lot, yes I have looked at that link to compare - but they seem to have similar results and reviews. I really didn't do well on citalopram so I'd hoped to hear maybe from someone how has tried both. I've always slept easy, if I don't take a sertraline tablet in the day I can drop off in the evening to get a good nights sleep. But my day/s are then more difficult to cope with. Catch 22 :)
