Many people have had success treating their migraines with this drug. If it treats your head pain chances are it will also treat the other symptoms. If you've suffered with chronic migraine for years, as I have, I would strongly suggest finding a headache specialist. Migraines are SO complex, chronic migraine even more so. It's taken me years to find out that neurologist just aren't trained well enough to deal with it. Unless, the amitriptyline does the trick please save yourself a lot of time, money and heartache and go ahead and find a specialist.
Neurologist.
Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant that also is prescribed for headaches and migraines.
Many people who take amitriptyline are using it for migraines or headaches, which are often accompanied by dizziness and nausea.
