You are experiencing side effects, but hang in there as the side effects should subside within a couple of weeks.
thank you... will the side effects get stronger every time the higher the dosage goes up?? I am currently on 10 mg, due to go up dosage to 20 mg in a couple of days, then 30mg a couple of days after that again. did you feel floaty and drunk for long?? its driving me insane... its like when I first had labyrinthitis with the woozy motion sensitivity and sickness. just feel like I could drop and lay down anywhere I go! :(
They shouldn't; however, we are all different and it may or may not increase side effects for you.
If you don't have any obligations if it were me I would just go to sleep lol
Please be sure this is the medication for you. I am after 25 years trying to get off this drug and it's been horrible. I started out at 5 mg and over the years it has been increased to 50 mg. I was given the drug to help me relax to sleep - it's habit forming.
That pretty much describes how I felt when I first started taking it and I also developed a dry mouth after a bit too. The dry mouth stayed but the other side effects went away after a few weeks.
You don't say what dose you were started on and that can be a big factor too. The higher the dose the worst the temporary side effects.
I am on 10mg each night before bed, in a few days I am told to double it... then a few more days after I should be taking 3 x 10mg tabs. will the effects get worse with every doubled dosage??? how long should it last? sorry - just nervous about it all... added anxiety doesn't help either! THANK YOU :)
My increases were spaced a week apart and were only mild in increases after being on 20 mg for a week. Even if you do have more side effects they shouldn't last long.
If the side effects are too much call your doctor and see about increasing more slowly.
Take care
