Hi, there:
I hope this wil be helpful:
"Oral amiodarone:
Slow onset: Oral amiodarone takes significantly longer to reach its full effect, with a delay of two weeks or more sometimes seen before antiarrhythmic effects are noted.
Loading dose helps: A loading dose regimen (a higher initial dose) can help to shorten this delay.
Full effect takes longer: Even with a loading dose, it normally takes one to three weeks of regular dosing for the full effects to be seen, with effects potentially continuing to increase for several more weeks until a plateau is reached.
Slow elimination: Amiodarone has a very long half-life, meaning it stays in the body for a prolonged period, potentially weeks to months. "

Thank you, WildcatVat!
Hopefully sooner. It's been in the 100 - 125 range for about 2 years now, 2 - 3 more weeks is nothing.
