I have been on Alvogen for several months now and have asked to be changed to a different type of patch. When I first put the patch on it works well. My experience has been that I only get relief for about the first day to day and a half and I am in the 72 hour rotation. That means by the start of day 3 my back is in scream mode. I have had two failed back fusions and am in constant horrible pain. This Alvogen patch does not work well for me.
My favorite brand is Mylan. I've been using them for 10+ years and never had a problem with them falling off.
I have never used Alvogen products...
I have been using Walgreens for my patches for 15 years. They usually have the ones that most resembled Duragesic when it came out. I believe the manufacturer is Teva, but my point is the manufacturer is back ordered a month or 2 for 100mcg patches. I hate the small patches which I think is Mylan and CVS uses them. This brand Alvogen is one off or 2 off from CVS choice brand. I’m very not happy with how the delivery works as well as how long and how often my break through medicine is needed with this .
