Just like any Xanax (Alprazolam) bar; the bar itself is 2mg; including the green ones. They are not extended release. Most of your meds that are extended release will have a coating on it or through it. Since they are scored 2 times, not 3, they have 3 sections. If you break it into sections, each section is approximately 0.67mg of Alprazolam. It’s kinda simple math. Also, the mg should be on your prescription bottle; that is if you have one!
Yes 3mg xr are triangular, thick with a sphere in middle kinda like a space ship. All others are supposedly IR. The white greenstone 2mg tablets seem least effective. To me anyway.
Some of you fine fine people are beyond ridiculous and really have no reasonable business taking these medications the way it seems you are intending. Wonder why it is almost impossible to get things like "zannie barz"??? Really should treasure what you hav3 left of your higher functioning CNS before you bleach it away taking 3mg xr xanprazolam at will. Lol.
This drink is on me friends =D
Xanprazolam?
I get the yellow bars is there any stronger bars out there. And if so what pharmacy. I tried the bars that say Xanax on them. Wow those were great. Please someone help me
Does anybody know
Sopranofan is absolutely right!
Manufacturer (color/mg/imprint): see below
Greenstone (white /2mg /G3722)
Dava (green /2mg /scored 3 times S903)
Actavis/purepac (yellow /2mg /r093)
Sandoz (white /2mg /GG249)
All of these are in our U.S. Pharmacies and they are all IR (immediate release.)
**They do not make a 3mg tablet in IR (immediate release) only in ER (extended release) and they are NOT the "totem pole" looking ones, they are round or roundish looking**
Thanks!

I wanted to know , the different type of xanax
The 3 main most common ones are the sticks
White 2mg non time released
Yellow 2mg time released
Green 2mg time released
No... Color has no reference with IR or XR. White 2mg bars are the same as a yellow 2mg bar... Only difference is pill manufacturer... Purepac=yellow (Walgreen's) teva =white (CVS) . highest mg is 2mg for ir. You have 3mg etc it's XR.
Read this Review these are the strongest bars on the market
Look up onax bars they are 3mgs they are stronger than the Xanax bars from USA onax there made with 3mg's of alprazolam they are made in India so to answer your question yes there are stronger forms of xanax out there that are much better than the US version they are called Onax it's the samething there Just stronger than the average xanax bar
Greenstone (white 2mg) G3722
Dava (green 2mg, scored 3 times S903)
Actavis/purepac (yellow 2mg r093)
Sandoz (white 2mg GG249)
All of these are in our U.S. Pharmacies and they are all immediate release. They do not make a 3mg tablet in IR only in extended release
I don't trust alprazolam that comes from other countries. Just my opinion
To figure out the dose of each one of the 3 sections, you just divide the 2mg by 3 sections which would be .6666666667 mgs per section so basically it works out to be .67mg a section :) (NOTE: THIS ONLY APPLIES TO THE GREEN ONES THAT ARE DIVISIBLE INTO 3 SECTIONS)
Incorrect, each side is 0.5mg, and the middle section is 1mg. People think these are 3mg Xanax which does not exist unless in an extended release.
The white are 2mg the yellow 2mg time released and the green ones are 2mg time released the whit bars are not time released.

No this answer IS CORRECT. It's a 2mg tablet scored 3 times with the med distributed throughout the pill making each section .666666 (basically .7mg each) Only reason it's scored 3 times instead of four is for convenience. (1 segment three times a day) These are the ones I get and they're regular 2mg tablets and they're not time released. They're made by Dava pharmaceuticals and imo work great with greenstone generic being the best.
Where did you hear it was scored as being half a mg on the outside and a full mg in the middle? I can't find any info on the web; I've tried chewing one 1/3 and one tasted more like Xanax than the other. Plz let me know where I can find this info.

Where did you hear the outer sections are .5mg and the middle being 1mg that makes no sense imo. The pharmacist doesn't even know that or heard about that, neither did the ENDO drug rep and DAVA rep I was on the line with. She said they should be scored into 4 pieces and green, which didn't make sense, gave her my lot #, pharmacy info, everything. It's almost like they haven't updated to the more accurate .5 pieces scored 3 lines instead of 2. Not only that but how in the world would they make 2 tiny outer pieces .5mg but the middle one surrounded by them is 1mg?
No, if it is scored 3 times, you actually get 4 sections which equal .5mg each.
The green PAR/Dava 2mg bars are scored twice .67mg a piece. I’ve found these weaker other than anything made by Mylan or Sun/Caraco Pharma. Greenstone set the standard, and the rest of the generics work almost just as well, (Sandoz, Actavis, Boca, Qualitest) those have all worked perfectly, I’ve had the brand name XANAX/2 tablets which aren’t even in the same league as any generic, even the subsidiary Greenstone. Generics differ and no pharmacist wants to admit that because it will cost them money, not even their money to begin with, for better domestic pills. I’ve been on Xanax 2mg BID for 6 years now going on 7 and have been to a few different pharmacies over the years, each with its own brand of Xanax, all high quality brands, till my mom n’ pop ran out and ordered these new ones, it immediately dispelled “the green hulks” myth being the strongest brand. Greenstone is the closest thing you’ll get to brand name, the rest work all in their own way, but work excellently.
Not
Some Dr's want you taking them in smaller doses, so they're scored to make this possible.
2mg bars have 3 scores to make 4 x 0.5mg doses.
well put :)
Each segment is approximately .7mg of alprazolam and yes I would think that particular manufacturer made it that way so it'd be easier to dose 3 times a day. (One segment in am,noon and night.
A white bar has three scores, this you can break at the score and divide the pill into four equal doses of .5mg.
However, the question was in regards to a green bar and they have only two scores.
Thus, when you break them on the line you're getting only three equal pieces of the pill.
The pill itself is 2mg
2/3= .6666666 mg.
It's my understanding, when a pills scored AnD broken, it's dividing the dosage in half... if the pills aren't scored, breaking them in half doesn't guarantee you two pieces of equal doses.
It's also been my experience, when I break a white one directly in half, it's stronger than breaking a green one in half... there's no real HALF MARK on the greens.
