It's impossible to know if it will work.
Aftera may work during your fertile time, but I'd opt for Ella, as it has a better chance.
The only emergency contraceptive pill, proven can work around the 24 hours surrounding ovulation, itself, is Ella (Ulipristal Acetate), but even that pill is not guaranteed.
Here in the UK, if you are in your fertile time, they will offer you Ella, rather than Aftera.
If you are using an app or website to predict your ovulation, then they are just a guide, & you may be closer to, or further from, ovulation, than is estimated. This is why Ella is probably a safer option, although still not guaranteed to work.
If you have already used Aftera, then it is not advisable to then use Ella within days of each other, as it is thought that taking both, they may cancel each other out, leaving you with neither pill working. More research is required on this.
The other possibility, is to have a Paragard IUD fitted within 5 days of the unprotected sex. This may prevent a pregnancy implanting, if the Aftera fails.
Aftera is a huge dose of artificial hormone for your body to handle. It is meant for total emergencies, & can cause some women's periods to be irregular for months after use.
