So today is my ovulation day, me being the stupid person I am I forgot and me and my fiancé had sex today. I’m getting a Plan B tomorrow as soon as I head to work but I’m scared that it won’t help and of course I’ve looked on google way to much already that I’m freaking out because we wanna save up and plan for our 2 child. Someone please ease my mind before I go crazy
I need help after doing something dumb?

If you're within 24 hours of ovulation, the only emergency pill proven to work at that time, is Ella (Ulipristal Acetate) (you can see that on their website), & even that's not guaranteed. Plan B might work, but it has not been proven.
Also, the only way Plan B has been proven to work, is by delaying your ovulation. It may work in other ways, but they've not been proven.
If you've already finished ovulation by the time you take an emergency pill (bearing in mind that apps & websites are just a guide to when you ovulate) then neither pill may do anything. In that situation you may want to consider also having a Paragard IUD fitted by a doctor within 5 days/120 hours of the unprotected sex, to prevent a pregnancy from implanting.
