... should I be worried about overdosage?
I accidentally took 2 240 mg diltiazem pills this morning. I usually just take one for palpitations?

Diltiazem overdose symptoms may include: Extremely low blood pressure (hypotension); heart failure; a slow heart rate (bradycardia).
This may cause signs or symptoms that include: Lightheadedness; Dizziness; Fainting; Difficulty breathing; Fluid retention.
Unfortunately if you feel any of the above symptoms, please seek medical help, call ER.
Take care, best wishes!
Thank you for answering so promptly. I am concerned because my heart rate is now 60 beats per minute, and that feels slow. I don't have all the other symptoms though, do you think a cup of coffee (or some caffeine ) would help? thanks.
Most welcome, good that you do not have all the other symptoms listed, maybe it would be best to seek medical advice, please call up ER or your doc., he/she would be bale to give you better advice.
Take care, be safe & well, please!
Thank you again. My doctor won't be in this early, but I'm feeling ok otherwise, and have to go to work soon. I'll have a strong coffee and see how I feel then. thanks again for the good advice, I feel better talking to you.
:-)
Pleasure, have a nice day!
