I have stop taking levothyroxine without asking my doctor, can I just take again still without prior consultation?
I took it when I started IVF, I thought I only need to take the medicine due to my IVF procedure, so when I stopped IVF, I also stopped it. Now that I want to start IVF again, only now I research about the medication, only now I know that I should be taking it for life.

You definitely can't stop taking levothyroxine. You will need it for the rest of your life and can become extremely ill by not taking it. I stopped talking mine for about a month and ended up in ICU for a little over a week because of it. Since you've stopped taking it, your TSH levels have most likely changed. My advice to you is to contact your dr's office as he will probably need to do some blood work to determine the best dosage for your current levels. But it's very important that you notify your dr's office right away that you've stopped taking the medicine.
