I just want to know if cialis is like viagra ! Does it work an hour after taking it? Or do u have to take it for days before it works?

It can work effectively about 20 minutes after taking it, peaking 6 hours after. Works best when your natural testosterone is highest 3am-9am.

5mg is the daily dose but that doesnt mean that it wont work the first time you take it. It may work right away or it may need to build up a few days. The recommended dose for "as needed" use is 10mg one hour before sex but some men have side effects at that dose and only need 5mg also if your creatinine clearance is poor daily use is not recommended and a lower dose would likely be used. How did your Dr prescribe it?

Dose can also depend on other drugs that you take so your best bet is to take it however the Dr recommended.
