My Dr. prescribed it to take as needed for episodes of paroxismal supraventricular tachycardia. My BP is normal, so I'm a little worried to take it just to lower my pulse. I'd like to try only 1/2 tablet first since I'm sensitive to most drugs.

Answers
Although it is not recommended yes you can halve a Bystolic tablet, as it doesn't have any modified release coating on it. For your next prescription, you doctor can prescribe the 5mg tablets.
Thank you!
