I had my colon removed 12 years ago (no cancer, just non-functioning from birth). I have a prescription but just want to know if that dosage is available otc so I can be sure I always have it. It was a major health issue about two years ago and I never want to not have it. This would be kept in my home somewhere just in case anything happened... who knows. Thanks
I have to take 1 mg folic acid daily. Can I purchase it otc?

I would just buy a bottle of folic acid at a real health food store, have a bottle of 1mg folic acid... just take whatever amount your script says in mg... and keep that for extra... sorry to hear about your health issue there, hope everything works out:)
