If you aren't having side effects now, then it is ok to continue taking them as your are. It takes about a week for the drugs to reach steady state in your blood stream and when they do, varying the doses here and there won't really affect the levels of active drug in your body too much. With diuretics like hctz, always be sure to maintain adequate fluid intake as they can cause dehydration.
As long as it's working don't mess with changing them. But I would continue taking the one you take in the morning then when you get home take the bedtime one. Just remember to take it close to the right time each day.
