For Allergic Reactions "I had a chronic cough for 5 months. Tried nose drops - didn't help. Lung x-ray was clean. Tried losec for GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease). Helped a little but kept clearing my throat and coughing. Finally tried Loratadine. Immediately started to help. After a week on loratadine I was not clearing my throat or coughing, it works. Excellent!"

For Allergies "I have been taking loratadine for five-plus years because I was exposed to mold at my job and in my apartment. As a result, I started experiencing allergy problems and began taking this medication. Initially, it worked great, but now I am experiencing hair loss, headaches, eye problems, a rash on my leg, dry mouth, sleeplessness, memory issues, body pain, and constant thirst, among other things. After reading these reviews, I have decided to discontinue the medication and see if these side effects subside. Stay tuned because I am in desperate need of help."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Loratidine does not work for my allergies. I switched from Zyrtec because it was cheaper. I wasted my money. I have had allergies all my life. My Doc recommended loratidine but Sudafed and Zyrtec work much better. If you are going to try it buy as little as possible to try it. Good luck"

For Allergic Rhinitis "Took 1 (10mg) tablet of Loradatine at 10:00AM on 15 June. After around 1 hour of taking the tablet I was hit in the face with the worst depression and anxiety I have had in a while. They only change was Loradatine after looking at reveiws I saw many people complaining about this drugs side effects. The side effects= 1) Insomnia 2)Depression 3) Panic attacks 4) Rapid Severe Heart Beat 5) Sweats 6) Virtigo 7) Bad Attitude and Thinking patterns Just the worst side effects I have ever had from any drug!!! I am now on the 18 June (3 days later) and I am still feeling weird and sleepy also finding it very hard to stay asleep for more than a few hours dry mouth ect. Stopped after 1 dose thank goodness for the internet or I wouldn't have known what was wrong with me and maybe carried on taking this DRUG"

For Allergic Rhinitis "OMG, I don’t think that I ever felt this terrible in my life as I felt during the last 5 days that I took this medication. It caused weird depression and confusion and generally some weird feelings that I don't even know how to explain- like I wasn't entirely in my own body... just so weird. It messed up my sleep - I literally didn't sleep properly last 5 days, I feel like a zombie. And above all of that it didn't help much with my rhinitis. I stopped using it today and I truly hope these terrible side effects will go away soon. Be very careful with this medication guys!"

Children's Claritin Allergy (loratadine) for Allergic Rhinitis "Claritin Children's Allergy 10 Chewable Tablet — I am a Buzz agent and recieved a sample of this to try. It say's children's but 2 pills has the same amount of Loratadine as 1 regular claritin. So, I decided ( since I have horrible allergies) I'd try it. It tastes great! It was also very fast acting. Withing 20 minutes my nose was clear. My throat isn't itchy at all. I know it says it's for kids, but I think I might start taking this. It makes taking a medication I have to take more enjoyable!"

For Allergies "Have taken this medication loratadine for a number of years now which has helped hugely with my dog allergy. Yesterday I was chatting with someone who reports the same as me. We both had side effects from Certirizine which was why went over to Loratidine."

For Allergies "I took one 10 mg pill of Loratadine and it did absolutely nothing. So the next time I took two pills and it actually worked. I do not recommend taking more than the recommended dosage of any medication."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Phenomenal medication for allergies especially this year and the past few years have gotten worse and worse. This is the only relieving medication I've found and is available over the counter. Also if you take other medications this seems to be much better and more compatible without interactions and is non-drowsy. Claritin (Loratadine) wins in my book."

For Allergies "Claritin does absolutely NOTHING for me!!! The most expensive candy mints I've ever bought. Even after taking 20mg of the 24-hour form *per dose* (double the strongest form), I'm still miserable with every seasonal allergy symptom after months of taking it."

For Urticaria "NOTE: Doctor prescribed me this mixed with Vitamin B Complex in pills in a 50/50 ratio. A few days after using it I noticed my eczema symptoms are going away (used to have reddish, dry fingers.) About 36 hours later I had massive dizziness, followed by shivers. At first I thought I got a simple fever or something, and didn't think that the medication was the cause, so I keep on consuming it. The next morning it felt like my head was about to burst and that i was sweating profusely. Since the doctor also prescribed me cream for my skin affected by the eczema, I decided to no longer consume the pills; in 24 hours I felt better. The eczema is also gone though at this point I'm not sure if the cream or the oral meds did the job for me. I would really recommend people to check whether they had allergic reactions to drugs like this, and perhaps other people are not allergic with this like me, because I pretty much poisoned myself in exchange for curing my skin condition."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I love this! I have dust and pollen allergies and was treated for many allergy related sinus infections. I have horrible post nasal drip, itchy eyes, and stuff nose. Loratadine works for all of this. It didn't kick in until day 4 but after that the results were wonderful. Absolutely no side effects."

For Urticaria "I took 10mg loratadine on Saturday I felt okay when I took it, next day feeling sick dizzy felt like had bad flu, I took it for dermographism on my skin which has got worst. I had bad reaction to this drug. I am writing this on day 3 I still feel wired. Don’t take this if you have bad anxiety and depression making me feel so unwell, headache, didn’t eat hardly anything in 3 days drank loads water, bread, soup. Finding it hard to sleep avoid it!! Side effects are awful I wonder when I am gonna feel better!"

For Urticaria "I have been using generic loratadine for two weeks for itching and burning due to sunlight and becoming overheated. It works well but I do feel somewhat drowsy and unmotivated. I am sleeping much better than I usually do and recalling many more dreams which are generally quite pleasant."

For Allergic Rhinitis "In regards to Loratadine... the symptoms for overdose are absolutely correct. I have seasonal allergies and was trying a new (for me) over-the-counter drug. I thought it was like most other allergy drugs I had used so I took as needed. Six tablets in an 8 hour span was an OD and I got bad headaches, extreme sleepiness and dizziness(the next day), heartbeat seemed OK. My breathing and runny nose seemed to be pretty good though. I dont suggest using more than described on the bottle."

Children's Claritin Allergy (loratadine) for Allergic Rhinitis "It works great for my son. It's convenient when we are camping. We don't have to go looking for a spoon, no measuring. He takes one and he feels better than when he takes two spoonfuls of the liquid and he's proud of himself cause he can get it for himself with supervision."

For Allergic Rhinitis "For a year or two my daughter and I have been using the generic, non-drowsy, version of this medicine. We use it to treat allergies, both seasonal and year-round. It is not always one hundred percent effective for the worst attacks, but it is very often successful, and best of all, it does not cause drowsiness. This is very important to us. "

Alavert (loratadine) for Allergic Rhinitis "Alavert is the only allergy medicine, aside for Benedryl and Dimmetap, I have taken that I found that works the best for me since I was a kid. I definitely choose Alavert now days over any other or I end up having to take Benedryl as well. By the way, I was born with allergies and have always had Severe Year Around Allergies to many natural and man made things."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I'm not sure if people leaving positive reviews are serious when they say it takes a week for the product to work?? This is for people with hay fever and is meant to stop their symptoms. Why on Earth would someone suffer for an entire week waiting for a product to work? That is absolutely outrageous. Luckily there are plenty of products that work within minutes and can actually give relief! For me this provided no relief whatsoever would recommend Claritin or citrine."

Claritin 24 Hour Allergy (loratadine) for Allergic Rhinitis "Worse over the counter supposed Allergy medication I have ever used. I wouldn't waste another dollar on this med. I spent $ 24.00 dollars for absolutely nothing. Please folks what ever you do do not purchase this product. I have suffered for 2 days now sneezing, coughing, eyes watering and feel like I have been beaten all over with a stick. I took the recommended dosage the fist day, no results and the second day with the same results. I rate this med below a star."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I took 1 tab a day for 2 weeks. Blood pressure was somewhat low for me and I take blood pressure medicines.I did have very dry eyes, so my contacts were giving me problems. I stopped tabs and about third day my eyes are not near as dry. Other than drying of the eyes tablets seem to work for my allergy."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I took this medication (10mg) for my runny nose due to Covid-19. The first hour I took it I started feeling a severe headache and a little bit fatigue which lasted for about 10 hours. In the beginning I thought it was an extra symptom from Covid, since I hadn't had such a symptom until then. The next day I woke up and there was no headache and fatigue at all and was feeling much better overall. As I was suspicious with this medication I decided to take it again and see myself whether I will experience the same symptoms. Again, after an hour I took it, I started feeling headache and fatigue. So, I decided not to take it again. However, the symptom of runny rose decreased."

For Allergic Rhinitis "It took about a week of daily doses for loratadine to start affecting my allergies, but after that, it was great. If I stop taking it, symptoms return after 2-3 days. This is not a short-term fix drug. Try it at daily for at least 2 weeks before you decide if it works for you."
