Gastrointestinal

Frequency not reported: Gastric irritation, possible pancreatitis^[Ref]

Elevations in serum alkaline phosphatase, amylase, and lipase suggesting pancreatitis lasted from weeks to months; levels usually returned to high normal with the first year or two of zinc therapy.^[Ref]
