When used in small doses, no COMMON side effects have been reported with sodium fluoride cream. Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur while taking fluoride topical (the active ingredient contained in Oral-B Minute Foam)
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue).

Applies to fluoride topical: mucous membrane powder for reconstitution, mucous membrane solution, topical cream, topical gel, topical kit, topical paste, topical solution, topical swab
Hypersensitivity side effects including allergic reactions have been reported.[Ref]
It has been shown that fluoride ion has potential to induce chromosome aberrations in cultured human and animal cells at doses much higher than those to which humans are exposed. In vivo data are conflicting.[Ref]
