Cholestyramine may interfere with the absorption of elafibranor, which could reduce its levels in the blood and make the medication less effective. Therefore, it is recommended that you take elafibranor at least 4 hours before, or 4 hours after cholestyramine to minimize the risk of interaction. If this is not possible, space the time between elafibranor and cholestyramine as far apart as you are able.
