Interactions between your drugs
BCG efgartigimod alfa
Applies to: bcg, efgartigimod alfa / hyaluronidase
If you are currently being treated or have recently been treated with efgartigimod alfa, you should let your doctor know before receiving BCG. Due to the potential effects of efgartigimod alfa on the immune system, it may affect your response to BCG, although this has not been studied. Depending on the length of time since you have been treated with efgartigimod alfa, you may be at risk for developing an infection from BCG or have a reduced response to it. In some situations, your doctor may want to delay initiation of BCG to give your body time to recover from the effects of efgartigimod alfa therapy. Conversely, if you have recently been receiving BCG, your doctor may choose to postpone treatment with efgartigimod alfa. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
