Drug Interaction Report
3 potential interactions and/or warnings found for the following 2 drugs:
- everolimus
- SymlinPen 120 (pramlintide)
Interactions between your drugs
pramlintide everolimus
Applies to: SymlinPen 120 (pramlintide), everolimus
Everolimus may interfere with blood glucose control and reduce the effectiveness of pramlintide and other diabetic medications. Monitor your blood sugar levels closely. You may need a dose adjustment of your diabetic medications during and after treatment with everolimus. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
Drug and food interactions
pramlintide food
Applies to: SymlinPen 120 (pramlintide)
Pramlintide may interact with other medications if taken at the same time. Your other medications should be administered at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after your pramlintide injection. Talk with your doctor before using alcohol while you are using pramlintide. Using pramlintide together with alcohol can lead to hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Alcohol can cause increased blood sugar due to the calories in alcoholic beverages. You may need a dose adjustment and you may need to check your blood sugar more often.
everolimus food
Applies to: everolimus
Grapefruit juice can increase the blood levels and effects of everolimus. You should not drink grapefruit juice or eat grapefruits during your treatment with everolimus. Orange juice is not expected to interact.

No duplication warnings were found for your selected drugs.
Therapeutic duplication warnings are only returned when drugs within the same group exceed the recommended therapeutic duplication maximum.
