tacrine viloxazine

Applies to: tacrine, viloxazine

GENERALLY AVOID: Coadministration with potent inhibitors of CYP450 1A2 may significantly increase the plasma concentrations of tacrine, which has been shown to be primarily metabolized by the isoenzyme.

MANAGEMENT: Concomitant use of tacrine with potent CYP450 1A2 inhibitors should generally be avoided. If coadministration is necessary, monitor for side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, sweating, and diarrhea. The risk of hepatotoxicity may be increased.
