Neomycin is used in the treatment of hepatic encephalopathy; hepatic coma; bowel preparation; diarrhea and belongs to the drug class aminoglycosides. There is positive evidence of human fetal risk during pregnancy. Neomycin 500 MG is not a controlled substance under the Controlled Substance Act (CSA).
