Usual Adult Dose for Infection Prophylaxis
Apply a small amount (equal to the surface area of the finger tip) on the affected area 1 to 3 times daily
Comments:
- Clean affected area prior to using this drug.
- May be covered with a sterile bandage.
- Do not use for more than 1 week unless deemed appropriate.
- Do not use in or near the eyes or on large areas of the body.
Use: For first aid use to help prevent infection and temporarily relieve pain due to minor cuts, scrapes, and burns

- Consult your doctor if you have:
- Deep or puncture wounds
- Animal bites
- Serious burns
- Do not use for more than 1 week unless instructed by your doctor.
- Discontinue and ask your doctor if:
- The condition lasts or gets worse
- The symptoms last for more than 7 days or resolve and come back within a few days
- A rash or other allergic reaction develops
- If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
