Indium In-111 containing compounds are known to be substantially excreted by the kidney, and the risk of toxic reactions may be greater in patients with impaired renal function. Caution should be exercised in patients with severely impaired renal function as these patients may have increased exposure to the agents and may increase the risk of adverse reactions; therefore, it is recommended to monitor for adverse reactions.
