NeilMed Sinus Rinse Packets (sodium chloride) "I've been using the sinus rinse for a few months now my ENT gave it to me for dry nose. I didn't notice that my symptoms came from this sinus rinse before. My throat is sore my ears and head hurt every time I use it. I wasn't sure at first but now I know it's the sinus rinse. It does help my dry nose but a few day after use I always get sore throat ear ache and headache."

NeilMed Sinus Rinse Kit (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "I was advised to use this by my ENT doctor, and after a period of using other nasal sprays and experiencing severe nosebleeds, total nasal blockage, and being reduced to having to breathe through my mouth, I decided to give his advice a try. Within a couple of weeks of just using NeilMed, my symptoms were much improved, and for the first time in a long, long time, I was able to sleep all night without having to wake up to get a drink of water. Now, a couple of months down the line, I rinse maybe once or twice a day. I can smell and taste almost as well as I could before this horrible nightmare began and feel like I have my life back. There are a number of chemical products out there that do work very well in the short term, but with regular use, they will mess up your sinuses and take you to a living hell. My advice would be not to use them at all and to just use this product. There are probably other saline-only products that would work just as well, but my story is based on NeilMed."

NeilMed Sinus Rinse Kit (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "I will never travel without this again. I have severe allergies and nasal congestion. I often get sick overseas. Right now, I have so much nasal congestion and this gets it out so I can breathe through my nose for a while. I have to do it again in a few hours but I think it's worth it because I don't have to take a corticosteroid."

NeilMed Sinus Rinse Packets (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "I Used Neilmed sinus rinse three days in a row. I started to have nosebleeds and headaches. There is no side effects warning on the box. My husband was the one that brought this to my attention if the nosebleed and headaches could be a side effect from it."

NeilMed Sinus Rinse Packets (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "Have used NeilMed per instructions, and per allergist, for chronic sinusitis, for two years. It took awhile (a month) to adjust to drowning the sinuses in a saline bath, twice a day. It started out slightly irritating and congesting too but the reward for sticking it out, has been zero sinus infections, a big, big deal. But the doctor had to prescribe a powdered antibiotic (Mupirocin) to the saline solution, to accomplish this (due to 9 prior sinus surgeries). Three middle ear infections have developed from the solution reaching & stagnating in the eustachian tubes, but could be because I also have immune issues. Bottom line - NeilMed has substantially reduced the misery of sinusitis, and I'm no longer on oral antibiotics every other month for those nasty sinus infections. A major improvement in quality of life."

Ayr Saline Nasal (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "Been using Ayr for around a year. Seems to work but I keep having scabs that just won’t go away! I’m beginning to think it’s because I’m using this stuff. I stopped using Ayr nasal gel a couple of days ago. Instead I have used just a tiny bit of Vaseline. Guess what?? No scabs!! Guess this stuff doesn’t work as good as I thought!!"

NeilMed Sinus Rinse Kit (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "My ENT recommended using sinus rinse for sinus infection, along with antibiotics and prednisone. At recheck, he told me to continue during allergy season. Plants blooming! Good for cleaning before using Flonase. Works well, sinuses are clear. Be careful, sometimes grip slips and I squirt my eye!"

Ayr Saline Nasal (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "I use this nasal spray regularly for nasal congestion. My major complaint is that for the last 2 months or so, the bottles have nearly impossible to open! The top is jammed on so tight that it can only be opened using by prying it off with a sharp knife. I thought it was a one-time manufacturing error when it first happened, but its been so long now I'm not sure what the problem is."

NeilMed Sinus Rinse Packets (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "It slightly cleared my congestion for a few minutes then the congestion returned. My nose felt extremely dry for days after, to the point of burning and it made my eyes ache. For me, the after affect of this product is not worth the few minutes of a clear nose. I boiled the tap water on a rolling boil for seven minutes and cooled it to tepid. I know what I did was correct."

Ayr Saline Nasal (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "I used this for a dry nose but it made my nose burn and then the following day I had a slight nose bleed and a burning in my nose. I notice the color was blue and now the gel is a lighter shade of blue but still have the same problem stopped using it going back to the ENT who prescribed this to me ."

Ayr Saline Nasal (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "Have used the spray for years due to severely dry sinus conditions. For allergies, I was using Flonase spray, but the side effect was bloody sinus. MD prescribed Ayr Saline Nasal Gel to be used prior to using Flonase. It does burn my nasal passages a bit, but the bloody sinus side-effect of the Flonase has been eliminated. I only use it during severe allergy attacks to supplement the Flonase. It works well for me."

Ayr Saline Nasal (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "The product is good for blocked Eustachian tubes but about half of all products are impossible to open because the the tops are on too tight. Given their expense, its annoying that manufacturers can't create a better top that is frequently so difficult to open."

NasoGel (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "My ENT gave me NasoGel to use for my dry nose. I followed the suggested dosage and after a week my sinus passages began to ache badly on the right side. I bought some sinus headache pain medicine for relief. Although the sinus pain has gone away from that area, I am now experiencing pain near my right temple. I am still using the NasoGel because it really has cleared my passages like crazy, but I think I may stop because I can only attribute the sinus pain to the nasal spray."

For Nasal Congestion "I've used over the counter saline solution for a couple of years now but just opened a new generic brand from a well known store and am worried that this product has gone bad because my nasal passages are on fire and has caused an instant severe sore throat. I checked exp date and it is good til 2017. This has never happened before. Will be returning to store to report this. Be careful using this stuff."

For Nasal Congestion "Started using about 36 hours ago and had some burning in one nostril almost immediately, but the overall benefit was good. Then, the headache started. So, even tho' I can breathe better, I can't handle the persistent headache. I will continue to look for something for my nose."

For Nasal Congestion "I have a bleeding, crust that doesn't seem to go away. I tried this for the first time. Just a little amount on the end of my nostrils and on the inner side as well. I don't know is what you guys are saying about a burn or drip for sore throats. Maybe you are applying to much or inhaling through your nose to hard which would cause it to get way up in ur sinus or w/e and lead to your throat. Just hack a loggie to get it out or I dunno what to tell you. But it seems to work for me no problem."

NeilMed Sinus Rinse Packets (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "In my view, the product intended to solve my sinus problems is actually exacerbating them, and that's saying something because my sinuses are already in bad shape. Despite giving it a fair chance, I strongly believe that the discomfort and mess caused by using this product, not to mention the hassle of constantly sanitizing a low-quality plastic bottle for nasal insertion, are simply not worth the time invested. If this is truly the most effective remedy available, then I may have to consider moving to a location with a more conducive environment for my sinuses. I've had enough."

NeilMed Sinus Rinse Packets (sodium chloride) for Nasal Congestion "I use this rinse once a day since the Dr suggested it. I have had very positive results. It's just saline (salt) solution. I boil the water for ten minutes and let cool. I heat in microwave for 23 seconds. It really helps me and I haven't gotten a sinus infection since. (3 years) The only complaint I have is they should make the top wider and I have a hard time pouring from tea kettle into bottle."
