"One of the most underrated pain relievers on the market. It's just as effective as the other NSAIDs, but it doesn't hurt the kidneys, heart, or stomach. Great for migraines and other painful conditions, can be taken more frequently because it's a weak cox inhibitor. Cox inhibition is what makes diclofenac, naproxen, ibuprofen, celecoxib, etc. so dangerous."

Disalcid (salsalate) for Osteoarthritis "I have tried every NSAID on the market, and this is the only one that I have found that works. I have fewer bad days and more good days that are closer together."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I had tried piroxicam and nabumatone for my joint pain. They did not help as well. I was taking tramadol 2-4 times a day in addition to the NSAID. Since starting Salsalate 2 months ago I am now taking tramadol just 1-2 times per week. I have noticed a significant difference in my joint pain, swelling, and even morning stiffness."
