For Xerostomia "Not sure if it is the Xylimelts or not. These do work for dry mouth. Been using them for a few months. I also have acid reflux. My throat hurts now when I sing in choir. Also, some back teeth have started to hurt. I discontinued usage for now. Used Biotene last night instead. I did a nice job."

"I have used this product for many years. Over time, it has disintegrated the glue that was in my crown on both sides of my mouth. I now have two places in my mouth needing to have dental work. The dentist tells me the only thing that can go there are implants. $$$$ implants run $5,000 each. I do not have that kind of money. My research has shown me that this has happened to other people using the product. I feel XyliMelts is responsible and should pay for this, not only in my case, but in anyone else who has this issue. I find the medication effective, but not to the point of losing teeth and costing me an excessive amount of money."

For Xerostomia "I use XyliMelts for dry mouth at night. I also have a CPAP machine. Recently, I developed a very large sore where one of the two XyliMelts was used. I stopped using it, and it went away."

For Xerostomia "Recommended by dentist. After four days, had hive-like bumps inside my cheek. The tablets were inserted correctly and adhered to the side of my gums. Sadly, this is not the answer for me."

For Xerostomia "There it was in black and white print, adverse side effects, allergic reaction of hives, which I have all over my chest. And I took way too many. They are in the garbage now."

For Xerostomia "I take it for dry mouth. I am gluten-free, and it bothers my stomach. It does keep my mouth moist. I take 3/4 while doing dialysis for 3 hours. I can tolerate it to a point."

"I started two nights ago and they've worked wonderfully. I don't keep waking up at night with dry mouth or mucus that makes it hard to breathe. The only thing is that when I go to brush my teeth, my tongue ends up numb afterward. I'm thinking I'm spreading whatever is left from the XyliMelts and it's causing numbness. I never had this issue before the XyliMelts. So, I don't know. I might have to stop because the negative reviews scare me."
