Lanadelumab for Hereditary Angioedema "I have developed pancreatitis. To be clear, I have problems with ascites in my stomach and intestines. I believe I have had it all my life, but it appears to have worsened. My biggest concern is my kidney function tests have declined each year, starting at 96 and are now at 88. I have had localized hives (on my legs only) and rashes on my arms only, diarrhea and nausea. It is quite painful to inject as I have very little fat on my legs and do not tolerate it in my stomach area. On the other hand, my HAE is very well controlled. I have gone from 2-3 attacks a month to 1-2 attacks a year."

Lanadelumab for Hereditary Angioedema "I have been on this medication for 10 months. Biweekly self-injection. Prior to starting this medication, I was at extreme risk of facial swelling from facial or dental trauma. I was also experiencing vomiting and nausea from any spicy or fatty foods. I have not had any symptoms of vomiting or nausea or swelling since taking this medication. No side effects noticed to date. Apparently, this medication can cause kidney issues. My blood is tested regularly for this, and to date, I have not experienced any physical concerns. I am certain my doctor would advise if blood tests showed issues."
