For Birth Control "Everything was okay until the end of the first pack. Then, I spotted for 2 months straight. I am now having my period, and it is just like how they were before the medicine, only with more cramps. I usually have awful cramps the first day, then they go away. I'm 3 days in and the cramps haven't gotten better. I am remaining hopeful for the next 3 month set though."

For Birth Control "I started with this pill to get off the shot but it is no better...I can't sleep at night I have the worst headaches my cycle is never predictable..I can see blood one day and nothing the next I can have sex one day and still bleed & that's so embarrassing & disgusting I hate this pill it was the worst choice ever"

For Birth Control "At first the Camrese was great. It successfully treated my cramping, mood swings, and acne. The first two cycles I did experience some spotting, but it decreased and eventually ended. For about another 6-9 months I experienced nearly no problems with the Camrese. A little over a year from starting the Camrese I began to get significant spotting (and I would take the pill at the EXACT same time everyday. I also began to develop an insatiable appetite that would last a week before my period and a week after I started the new pack. What prompted me to look for other forms of BC was that my mood swings would occur a week before, during, and after my period to the point where I was overwhelmed with unexplained anger/frustration."

For Birth Control "I have been taking this medication for a month. No breakthrough bleeding and my menstrual cycle has been a great, but the negative side effects have been miserable. I experienced severe mood swings, depression (and I am usually a happy person), bloating, weight gain, increased appetite, breast tenderness, discomfort and pain in my abdomen and extreme fatigue. I have been miserable since starting this medication and will discontinue it and try something else."

For Birth Control "I have never been more exhausted in my life while on this birth control pill. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and have now been on this pill for 2 months. I am still moody, constantly tired, feel the dull pain in my lower stomach and have had breakthrough bleeding already. The bloating is awful and my breasts are so swollen and tender that I can't stand to wear a bra. I was on Seasonale before and did not have these side effects whatsoever so will hopefully be going back to that now that this pill has completely changed me as a person!"

For Birth Control "I have taken Camrese for 5 years now. The first few months were difficult as my body adjusted to the new hormones... The typical nausea and mood swings. However, by the 6th month of taking it I was feeling great! I experience no side effects from the pill. My libido is high, weight gain only 5-10 lb. difference than pre-pill weight, and my periods are more manageable. So far, 100% pregnancy protection :) Because I only have a period 3-4 times a year, my life is so much easier... No more missing work, debilitating cramps, or scheduling around periods for travel days and beach fun. If you do not mind pushing through the first couple of months of hormonal changes (everyone is affected differently) then I highly recommend this brand."

For Birth Control "I got on this due to migraines I would have when I got my period. This medication has been a savior. When I first got on it I had some problems, I have break through bleeding in the second month that become a full on period so I was on my period for two months, but I figured it was my body getting adjusted. I'm on my third three month pack now. No break through bleeding. My boobs hurt three weeks before I get my period, but other than that these medication is amazing. I have my sex drive back, no headaches, clear skin, and no weight gain!"

For Birth Control "I loved this birth control. I've been on 5 or so different pills but this is the best so far. Only complaint is the intense cramps around the time of my period. My period last 6 days with normal bleeding and painful cramps. The cramps are bad but not strong enough to stop taking them especially because they only occur every 3 months. I think the reason for my positive time on the pills was because I've been on steady birth control for 4 years straight. Sad news I've had to change to non estrogen birth control because of my high blood pressure. I miss this so much lol"

For Birth Control "I wanted to try this pill because I was diagnosed with Severe Anemia. I'm trying to save my Hemoglobin not get rid of it. I didn't bleed for the first 3 weeks, now I can't stop bleeding... Huge clots, massive cramps, totally gross, and a continuous headache. I can't sleep and I crave junk food all the time. I'm almost done with my 3rd month and I bleed every day. Pregnancy is not an issue in my case, I'm just trying another method in order not to have my period so much. Camrese fail!"

For Birth Control "I’ve been on camrese for over 2 years now and I love it. I enjoy not getting my period every month. I’ve had a little weight gain but nothing terrible. Maybe 3-5 pounds. Also my acne has significantly improved. Boobs are the same size maybe even smaller (which is most likely from working out). Occasional mood swings but not as bad as I was before BC. No depression. The only kind of pill I’ve ever taken and I love it."

For Birth Control "When I first started this medication the whole first month I would feel super nauseous and sick. This continued for about a month. I had no spotting at all until the 3rd month. My spotting lasted about 3 weeks until I finished my first 3 months and had my first period. Those would be the only down sides this has given me. The positives though are that I have had zero cramps which is huge considering I used to have horrible ones. It has also cleared up all my acne and my periods only last about 3 days. I have been on this for about 5 months now and it is great to me."

For Birth Control "Been on this for 4 years; started about 2 months after dating my boyfriend. Occasional spotting but nothing compared to what others have described. I am fortunate in that I have always had extremely light periods anyway, and there hasn't really been a change except for frequency. No weight gain and no acne or hair loss or any of the other things people have unfortunately described. The only thing I've noticed is a significant decrease in libido. Like, went from 100 to zero within weeks of starting the pill. By the time I figured out it wasn't going away I was too hesitant to switch since it's the only side effect and any BC is a gamble so I just deal with it."

For Birth Control "I am on the third month of this birth control. Since I have started Camrese, my face remains clear and my breats grew a bit as well. And I like the idea of having only four periods a year. However, the spotting has been an absolute nightmare. I had no spotting at all up until the end of month two, and the spotting has not stopped since (I am nearing the end of month three). Sometimes it will seem like it has stopped, but then an hour later I will be bleeding again. It is exhausting. I don't know when it will stop, but I hope it will stop soon, or I'll definitely switch pills again. The spotting is the only negative side affect I have had thus far."

For Birth Control "I am on the 3rd sheet of pills so about 3 months in... before taking i weighed 120 now I am 130... feel depressed, just this week started to get brown discharge and thick red blood clots, try to take the pill everyday with my coffee but I was an hour off a few times, my boobs grew from C to double DD I don't mind but I do feel bloated and have had a couple angry depressed days..not sure its worth these symptoms but before I had such bad cramps n migraines was in bed every month for 2 days at least. Plus I thought only being 29 having early menopause with hot flashes n migraines this would help me... not sure yet. Staying on for another week or soo see what happens and the weight gain for me is the worst I don't fit in my pants, plus need new bras."

For Birth Control "I was not a fan of this pill. It was supposed to be three months noncyclic and I still had a period every month, longer than normal. And I would bleed in between. It also made me gain 13 pounds in 6 weeks - while I was counting calories and working out. It was impossible to lost weight on it. It made me super emotional. I was constantly weepy and depressed many days. I don't want to take this one ever again."

For Birth Control "I was diagnosed with PMDD and it was severe. I dreaded my periods every month and there was always one day a month I literally couldn't function. Doctor's wanted to prescribe Mirena but for many reasons I am against IUDs. We tried so many birth controls and I had issues with all of them and they never put a dent in my PMDD. Thank goodness for my Dr . She explained to me what nobody else explained to me is that all birth controls are different in their levels of hormones, some have more estrogen, some have more progesterone and I think it's even more complex then that, anyways Camrese is supposedly as similar to Mirena that you can get in pill form. It's been like night and day for me. I feel amazing. Only complaint is cold sweats"

For Birth Control "My doctor prescribed Camrese to lessen my increasing heavy periods (presumably due to perimenopause). I'm at the end of the sixth month taking this drug and have nothing positive to say about it. I've gained 10 pounds in 5 months and am depressed that it's summer and I can't fit in my size 4 clothes anymore. What's worse is that I've had consistent break through bleeding for the last 2 weeks and expecting the "forced" period next week. (I'm wondering if I should just DEAL with the uber heavy periods - at least they were predictable and only lasted 5-7 days). There was also 5 weeks of spotting during the first 3 months on this pill. Needless to say I'm consulting my ObGyn next week to try something different. This pill's not for me."

For Birth Control "I love the fact of not having a period for 3 months, but there is absolutely NO sexdrive during the whole three months of taking the pill except for the first week after your period. I had breakthrough bleeding for about a month but it stopped after I started the next pack. I have no other side effects but the whole no sex drive thing kinda sucks"

For Birth Control "I've been on camrese for about a year now and it's the best birth control I've had yet. All the others I bled for months and had super crazy mood swings. The only thing that really sucks about it is that I have NO sex drive. But the fact that I only have a period every 3 months makes up for it. Every so often i'll get some really light bleeding but its not even enough to validate wearing a tampon for."

For Birth Control "I have had really bad pain with my periods for 30 years. I have tried other birth-control and this, by far, has been the best. I have no pain I have had really bad pain with my periods for 30 years. I have tried other birth-control and this, by far, has been the best. I have no pain plus I don’t have a period at all. Would definitely recommend it."

For Birth Control "Camrese was the first multi month dose birth control pill I have ever been on and when I had it I loved it so much!!! Now my Walgreens doesn't even carry it so they forced me to take Ashlyna which worked for about 1 month then I got horrible weight problems, acne out the wazoo and I have been miserable and my period has been going on since month 2 week 2 I am now on my third week of my period, am severely anemic, and my blood loss is dramatically changing my blood pressure. I have dropped 20mmHg and am now 105/69. I cannot afford to lose anymore blood but walgreens will not fill my Camrese because they only carry Ashlyna and are withholding everything so I cannot even get any birth control to stop this bloody mess in my pants! NOT ALL PILLS ARE THE SAME! I want my Camrese back so desperately so I can have something that works!"

For Birth Control "My 20 yr old daughter started taking this to help with her periods. They were very heavy and the cramping kept her home from work and school 1-2 days per month. She takes the pills every day at the same time. She is on week 5 and for the past week has been very depressed and mood swings that involve anger. She says on a scale of 1-10 it is a 10. She says in addition she does have breast tenderness. She is sleeping more and the depression has me worried. No spotting or weight gain. We have called the doctor for advice. God bless"

For Birth Control "I have been on Camrese for 2 years to treat severe cramping/pain due to family history of endometriosis. While the pill was 100% effective in preventing pregnancy and shortening periods/lessening pain, I experienced the following side effects: high heart rate (often times would not slow down enough to sleep at night, severe anxiety as a secondary effect, low mood as a secondary effect of anxiety/lack of sleep, increased sensitivity to sugar and caffeine, bloating (more often than not), weight gain. For TWO years I thought I had undiagnosed generalized anxiety disorder until I went off the pill for a week and realized that I slept every night and was 100% calm and my heart rate finally felt normal. I am switching to Skyla IUD"

For Birth Control "I've been on this medication for a little over a year now to prevent my period altogether as I used to have extremely painful cramping, and it has made my life so much easier. The first pack of the pills (3 months) was mostly fine, no major mood swings or weight gain, however at the end of the third month I did experience about 12 days of very painful cramping and light spotting, which is not typical for me. However since then, I've not experienced any cramping or bleeding, which has been amazing. I'd highly recommend this medication, though be prepared for a bit of an adjustment period during the beginning."

For Birth Control "Been on Camrese for about 3 years, after trying 2 other birth controls. For the first two months you will have a lot of spotting, but if you push through those two months it goes away completely. I haven't had any spotting in months and used to have an extremely heavy period. I have endometriosis and this pill helps a lot. If I forget a day by accident, I will have endo pain the next day almost immediately. I did use to break out the first few months as well, but not anything anymore. No weight gain or any other side effects."
