For Birth Control "This is the first birth control method I have ever used. I'm 18. I have been on it for a little over 7 months. I absolutely love it. Let me just start with the pros: breasts got more firm. My skin actually became more clean. (I've always had clear skin) but this helped even more. The only negative side effects I would say is that you sometimes may experience mood swings. I have a short temper so that could also be my fault. This pill does NOT make you gain weight. It only makes you hungrier than usual. I highly recommend this pill for all women. I love it!"

For Birth Control "*trigger warning: mentions of depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, self-harm* Never taken birth control (BC) before & today I’m 2.5 months on & decided to switch to a different BC. Bleeding on my period is very light (switch from regular to light tampons) but my cramping remains the same. Didn’t do anything positive/ negative for face acne, but did give me neck/under chin acne. I was bloated & gained 5-10lbs the first 6 weeks on it & that weight and bloating is now gone. I am now noticing this past 2 weeks that I’ve lost a whole cup size in my breasts & my butt has gotten a bit bigger; I’m indifferent to these 2 changes. Physically for me this BC worked pretty okay but the toll on me mentally is something I won’t accept. The entire last month I’m experiencing the worst depression I’ve ever experienced, anxiety for the first time, suicidal thoughts & self-harm, terrible sudden mood swings & I’ve cried every day the last 2 weeks."

For Birth Control "I've been using this birth control pill for 2 months now. I got put on them to help with painful/heavy periods and other PMS symptoms. We'll, I wanted to wait awhile so I could see how my body would react to this birth control and it hasn't been very good. I'm more depressed than ever, my libido is extremely low and I barely climax, I cry all the time and it's causing relationship issues. My boyfriend begs me to just throw my last pack away. It´s just not compatible with me. Good luck to other users. I hope you ladies have better luck <3"

For Birth Control "I'm a 25 year old woman and I took Yasmin, back home (I'm from Mexico), for six years and it was amazing. I recently got married and moved to the U.S. and switched to Aubra (given to me by Planned Parenthood). I've been on Aubra for four months now and I absolutely hate it. I broke out like crazy, my mood swings are just incredible, PMS is horrible, my sex drive is gone and natural lubrication is a problem for me now. I never had any of this problems before and there's no way I'm sticking to Aubra. Yes, it keeps me from getting pregnant, but the side effects are not worth it. I just got three boxes of Yasmin and I'm waiting to finish my current Aubra box to switch back to Yasmin."

For Birth Control "I took Aubra (the generic of Vienva, Sronyx,Larissia, Lutera etc) for about 6 months. I didn't want to continue after the first month but doctors urged me to see if things changed and wait a few months before stopping. I had (and now still have) TERRIBLE mood swings, bad cramping constantly (on and off periods), constant nausea, and like someone else mentioned weight gain - while eating healthy AND exercising (like.. 50 lbs in 3 months, literally). This Aubra contraceptive pill is rubbish. My doctors now don't even believe me, and won't consider my issues as due to this at all anymore because they just think I'm an overweight liar now and NONE have ever heard of this medication."

For Birth Control "When I started this medication, I actually thought I either had the flu or food poisoning because the side effects were so bad that I didn't realize it was just from the aubra. I had severe stomach issues, sweating, and as the week went on, I had vision problems and an extreme headache that was getting worse instead of better. Thanks to other reviews on this site, I realized that it could be from this pill and stopped taking it. I already feel much better."

For Birth Control "I started aubra and it had the same dose of estrogen and progestin. I noticed the first weeks I was very emotional. I cry over a lot of things because I'm just naturally a sensitive person but the first two weeks were pretty sad. My period either lasted 5 days with heavy to light bleeding, or a week with moderate bleeding. I never break out, and when I do it's once every blue moon. As for weight gain.. that's natural when taking birth control. The first time I gained 10 pounds but I am also an active person and go to the gym daily, so I lost it pretty quickly. I've been on aubra for 3 years now. So far no complaints, but definitely I would recommend to give it a little over a month to see if it's for you."

For Birth Control "This was the very first birth control brand I've taken, I was so happy because it didn't give me any weight gain or acne. It did make me very emotional and crazy after using it for a year or more, it made my relationship with the boyfriend go downhill. So I stopped taking it for 3 months and I started gaining a lot of weight out of nowhere. I've never been this heavy before, so I'm deciding to take it again but with a vitamin called Evening Primose Oil capsules. Hopefully it will help with my emotional wreck and craziness. Of course, every brand and dose is different for each person. I wish there was something that would tell us what works best for our bodies."

For Birth Control "I’ve been taking this birth control for about 3 months and noticed I would be constantly anxious or depressed. I found myself without a drive to do anything whether it be have sex or simply go out. It also made sex painful when I would go dry while enjoying it. It did help with cramps and made my period lighter except for my spotting about a week before. No pregnancies and periods were better"

For Birth Control "I started taking Aubra about a month and a half ago, but had to stop mid pack due to the side effects. I had no side effects and felt great except for minor mood swings during the whole first month. By the time I started the second pack, I began to have chest pain and extreme nausea. I could barely eat, and had such bad anxiety all day I couldn't leave my house. I had to miss 4 days of work and almost went to the ER every night because of how bad I felt. I had no control over my body and had to stop taking them just to live a normal life again. It got to the point I couldn't even make it to my doctor's appointment due to my anxiety."

For Birth Control "I am 5'4" 150 lbs. Ive been on Aubra for almost 2 months. Haven't had a pregnancy scare and cramps/bloating are lessened, so thats good. However, I am having issues with large single pimples. They aren't really a cluster of acne. These large single pimples are more like mini welts. They're under the skin and painful when touched. There is no pus or anything so it's not like you can 'pop' them. I'm getting them on my neck and chest as well as on my upper back and shoulders. Its summer and I'm forced to wear uncomfortable turtle necks and high neck lined shirts to cover them. Foundation is not enough to cover these beasts :/. I wish I could upload a photo for you all to see. I thought birth control was suppose to help you NOT break out :/. My diet has not changed in 5 years and I started drinking much more water. I also have resorted to using medicated Acne Wash 1x day and Daily Acne Spray 3x day. They have gone down in size, but are still there. NOT CUTE!"

For Birth Control "I took Aubra for a little over 2 years. My doctor made me make the switch because I had a blood pressure reading that was too high so she switched me to a POP pill. I wish I never did! Aubra was a god send and now I am miserable on this new pill (Lyza). With Aubra I had regular periods that lasted maybe 3 days, no acne, weight loss or weight gain. I had some mood swings, slight tenderness in my breasts now and then, and they also grew a size or so- no big deal. But I never experienced cramps, headaches, or any symptoms of nausea! I had it good with Aubra, but... everyone is different! I am going to see if I can switch back. Overall, I would recommend this pill to those who are more sensitive to hormone pills."

For Birth Control "This pill gave me the worst acne I have ever experienced. I never really had skin problems until I began taking this. I have been on it for 3 months and it has not gotten any better. The only thing this is good for is pregnancy prevention. I'm switching brands because my skin looks terrible from this."

For Birth Control "I have only been on it for 2 weeks and already I am ready to get off the pill asap. Already I've had bad mood swings, gained weight and also I'm currently experiencing the worst acne I've ever had. My acne is so bad, it hurts my face so much. This is the first birth control I have ever taken...I do not plan on continuing this contraception nor would I recommend it to anyone."

For Birth Control "Just finishing up my 2nd pack just got my period after being two months late. I had a little spotting Saturday no pain Sunday little more blood severe pain like never before. Monday back pain was insane and my cramps hurt so bad I ended up in the ER. Today is day 3 and my cramps a horrible as well as back pain. I read comments its just your body adjusting but man I have never had this pain before its the absolute worse! First 2 weeks I took mine everyday at 7:30am I notice it made me so nauseous like never before so I now I take it everyday at 11:30 after I have eaten food and that really helped. I will say it did control my acne and it does make me eat a little bit more than usual however my cramps are so bad I'm thinking of getting off them"

For Birth Control "I absolutelllly loved this BC. The first one I went on (probably the last too) and it's done wonders. I haven't gotten pregnant (woo!) & it cleared up all my acne! I have naturally very oily skin & break out right before I get my period, but on Aubra those annoying whiteheads went away. When I first started taking it I found myself hungrier than usual & with an increased appetite, and I gained almost 10 lbs, but after the first few months my appetite curbed and went back to normal & I lost the weight. My boobs grew slightly and it helped regulate my period. My friend was also on Aubra but had to switch because it made her gain a lottttt of weight. Everyone's body reacts differently, but personally Aubra worked for me :^))"

For Birth Control "I’m only on day six and I’ve been having extreme nausea. Throwing up and being very uncomfortable in my own body. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone. So far it hasn’t extremely effected my emotions but I have been getting more upset over little things. Gonna stop taking birth control overall cause I’ve tried 3 other brands before this one, but Aubra takes the cake for the rate of nausea I’ve been experiencing. Usually the other brands would take about a month or two before I get extremely nauseous but like I said, I’ve only taken 6 days worth of pills before it started to effect me."

For Birth Control "I've been taking aubra for about 6-7 months now, and I have had no major side effects, the only thing I can really complain about is before when I got my period I would never get cramps, now when I do have it I get cramps but they are very minor. I had little to no acne before taking it, and I have noticed I only get a few pimples here and there, my sex drive has not changed at all still pretty good. Mood swings are a bit of a problem to where I will get upset with my boyfriend for not replying in a timely matter, over dumb stuff I get upset. And no weight gain at all. But other than that aubra has gotten me on a regular monthly period before I only had it once maybe 3 times a year."

For Birth Control "I've tried other BCP before this one and they made me more emotional than this one. I would be hysterical and with aubra i felt more like myself. It definitely had its cons, but the fact that it didn't give me emotional panic attacks like my previous bcps, it wins. I really like this one. Pros: For me, less emotional and lighter periods. Effective in preventing pregnancy. Cons: Nausea, I was told to take my pills at night for this reason. And most nights I don't feel this symptom. Less sex drive."

For Birth Control "I'm 33, w/no kids. I've been on a couple diff types of BC before but I think this one has been the worst. Started taking these pills because I was cramping a lot during my period and they were heavier than usual. It was fine for the 1st 3 mths, w/little to no side effects, my periods even seemed less painful and lighter. 6 mths later, I've noticed that I'm super emotional/sad, periods are inconsistent, 1 month its heavy w/break thru bleeding for about 4-5 days, spotting for about 2 weeks before and or even after my period, the next month I may not bleed much at all and the cramping hasn't decreased. I've also noticed an in increase in the frequency of bad headaches and a lack of energy. Wouldn't recommend Aubra but everyone is different."

For Birth Control "I've been on aubra for the past year. I didn't have any symptoms that I know of. It has cleared up my acne drastically. I use to get huge pimples on my forehead right between my eyes and it wouldn't go away, even after months of ance face washed and spot treatments. I also use to get a huge one on my chin. I still get a little bit of acne, but not near as bad as before. I take it every morning at 7a My periods use to be irregular and would come every other month for the most part, and sometimes three months. They have been more regular and lighter than before. Pros for me: prevents pregnancy, reduces ance, makes period lighter, period is more regular Cons: have cramps during period more often than before, some what lessened sex drive"

For Birth Control "Was on this for about 3 months, normally the time frame for deciding whether or not your body reacts well to a medication. Periods were fine and normal, lasted about 5 days, light to moderate. Still got cramps around the second day and acne about a week or so prior to my period. I started to get inter-menstrual cramping and sharp pain in between periods. Normally if I miss a pill, or few, I can take them all, up to 4, shit happens, and be fine. With this I felt really sick and crampy if I took more than 2. I gained about 15lbs in 3 months, but I also had moved across country and started a new desk job, so cant account that all to the medication. No mood swings or headaches. Definitely increased discharge though."
