Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "After trying Silendafil and Cialis after Prostate Surgery neither worked for me. Using the Caverject Injection was good but not a big fan of the needle. Using the 500 Muse was great for me. Little pain during insert, but got a really good hard on. I will continue to use if effective, if not surgery for me. I do recommend this product if your insurance pays for it. Mines is free with the Veterans Administration."

Caverject (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Started on Caverject 10mcg. Moved to 20mcg big improvements. But still not totally firm. So moved to 30 mcg . The issue is I have to inject 10mcg and 20mcg separately . Anyone know if I can just inject the one dosage of both together . Hate needles"

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I had prostate surgery in 2009 and had used Muse for ten years. I had tried everything from injections, pills, pumps and now medical Muse. The key is to determine what works for you. When I first began to use this medication I used a penis pump. The pump comes with different size rings for your penis. I pumped the penis up, then remove it out of the pump and I insert the Muse into the head of the penis and re-pump. After 8 mins or so I slide the ring off the pump on to the shaft or base of the penis. The penis will stay hard and the ring will help keep the blood inside the penis. Best position is standing over the bed while your partner lay on the bed. Side effects for me are; a little discomfort in the groin area (but hell, it's worth it) also swelling of veins in the lower left leg. Women don't care how you get it hard, as long as you get it hard. I honestly had no complain. PS, use your pump ever day to mimic a hard-on that we use to get every morning.. " keep that thang alive "!"

Caverject (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I have been using this since 1993 due to inability to get an erection after a car accident broke my hip and dislocated my leg, along with bad concussion. It worked quite well during the first 10 years or so. Now, due to age I am guessing, it is a "hit or miss" with the injections. As of Jan 1st, 2018 I am no longer able to find it in my state-the only pharmacy that mixed it has discontinued doing so due to the high cost (I also had it shipped via UPS since pharmacy is a couple of hrs away). What confuses me here is that the rx that works best for me had to always be kept cold until use, and I have received it sometimes thru the years where it says not to keep cold ( and that rx never worked). So-there evidently different formulas? And as for the scar-tissue statements-yes, I too have the scar tissue with the "hard" spots, but they have not caused any pain; curvature, etc-I can feel them when I get ready to inject, and just inject beside them."

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Edex began to work this first time in about 5 minutes. I took 10 mg and it produced the best erection I could manage with a pump, with sildinafil, or any other way. Adding 10 mg more within 20 minutes improved the rigidity a bit, but the overall erection was probably at 80% of in my youth. I feel no burning, but I do feel what feels like a pressure in my prostate. I just got a TURP and still feel the effects of that surgery a bit, since it has been 6 weeks ago. This may just be what happens with my initial dose. If 20 mg doesn't work, I'll try doubling that. 20 mg would probably suffice for insertion during sex, but I doubt if if would feel good for me or her."

For Erectile Dysfunction "My first injection at home: physician-provided dose of papaverine + 3 regitine with added 20 mcg of PGE1 mixture in amount of 30 cc was very painful and lasted over 3 hours until relieved with standard dose of Sudafed. The pain was intense at about 9 out of 10 with 10 being the highest. My penis felt like it was engorged beyond capacity, or like it was being forcefully bent while fully erect, although in reality the erection was only about at 70% and declining. While the erection was declining, the pain held constant. Health care professional recommended reducing to 10 or 15 cc dose. This had the same result in pain intensity but less stiffness and duration of erection. At about 35% stiffness, the pain stayed at 100% of original."

Caverject (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Have been using caverjet for six years now,at the begining it was great .injecting 20mg .however what the manufacture. Does,not tell you is each time you inject the needle causes scarring to the penis wall.after about five years I found it was taking longer to pee. I did not link the two together. However recently Visited a consultant and informed him of my condition.he then told me this can happen. So advise me to now take muse.not so effective as the injections."

Caverject (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "It’s been 5 years since I started using it 20mg now and then. At the beginning I needed less than 1/4 to get 4 hours erection, now whole injection barely work. Wondering if anxiety and depression affect its performance or its performance has been causing me anxiety and a depression. Anyway, too much life hassle to maintain a sexual life, I’m losing interest in sex cos it has become too complicated."

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Started out with 250 it worked great but the second time not as well moved up to 500 mg still not as good as the first time with the 250 Mg, for the 1000, but my mate doesn't like knowing I use anything she feels I'm not interested but Muse's the only thing working for me years ago. Yohibe work great for me but I think I overdid it."

I followed all of the directions that came with the product. I noticed that my penis started to harden up a little then quit. I wonder what I am doing wrong"

Caverject (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Starting taking Caverject 20mg around 3-4 years ago. Worked great when I first started using it and was down to 1/4 of a injection to get an erection within 5 mins. that would last for at least 4 hours. Now I inject the full dose and when it works it works the same as before but more often then not it do not work at all. Do anyone else have this problem?"

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "I am in very good shape at 70 yrs old. I have used Muse 5 times. One time worked out as planned and the two other times it let me down. Another time I had an erection for 4 hrs. So in short it seems undependable and I get an uneasy feeling to try it again. Plus it takes too long to get it from the drug store. Is there a production issue..?"

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Works somewhat, but not stiff enough for vaginal penetration. Haven't tried while standing though. Fairly strong penile aching with 1-2 hr. persistent erection afterwards are not a plus. I've had somewhat better results using a vacuum pump and retainer ring. The best thing so far was "Trimix" intracavernosal injection - a good hard erection, no pain - but the last batch was not particularly effective, and I don't know if the compounding pharmacy used dated materials, or my response is declining with age. Viagara and Cialis do nothing for me."

Muse (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Tried Muse for the first time tonight and well not very impressed yet. It gave me the initial erection but did not last long at all not even an hour. I am on many meds for Diabetes though so I'm sure that played a part. I will try it again for sure though. Also I am only on the 250mcg dose. I would say it's a start though much better than what has been going on."

Caverject (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "Started with the dual chamber 20mcg Caverject injections. Injected two amounts ie 40mcg in total. Mixed results. Partial erection. Due to lack of manufacturing supply swapped to the single 40mcg single injection type. Use same dose as before but no errection at all just pain. Tried multiple times but no change. Pain is sometimes less but can't deduce why. Different injection methods, ensuring temperature of liquid is room temp gives no change in results. I am medically qualified."

I even tried to inject a total of 60 mcg But still no real effect.. In the begginning it was a total blast.. But something happened and now it doesnt seem to work.."

For Erectile Dysfunction "My partner used the drug after which I experienced side effects of extreme burning sensation irritation redness it felt like cuts but it was due to the side effects other medication when injected into the male the medication mix with sperm he ejaculate into the woman. It burns and it irritates the woman inside and outside, its extremely painful and causing damage to the vaginal area. Has the company started doing research into something that would neutralize that particular side effect that the partners may encounter, because it's extremely painful to the vaginal area."

Edex (alprostadil) for Erectile Dysfunction "The last FOUR EDEX injections I used did NOT work; they just made me SWOLLEN! with NO stiffness at all! You would think, that something so expensive would work!! IT works on one's ego and self confidence is really hard to deal with,...not to mention embarrassing! SO,...Why are they not working?"
