Tisagenlecleucel Levels and Effects while Breastfeeding
Summary of Use during Lactation
No information is available on the clinical use of tisagenlecleucel during breastfeeding nor on breastfeeding after CAR-T cell therapy with tisagenlecleucel. However, some information on other agents indicates that breastfeeding might be acceptable after CAR-T cell therapy. If breastfeeding is attempted following tisagenlecleucel CAR T-cell therapy, infants should be monitored carefully, particularly with B- and T-cell counts and immunoglobulin (IgA, IgG and IgM) blood levels.
