Can you provide us with more information. What are you taking Zithromax for?
Zithromax is an antibiotic and is used to treat many different types of infections caused by bacteria, such as respiratory infections, skin infections, ear infections, and sexually transmitted diseases like chlamydia.
If you are being treated for chlamydia should you should abstain from sexual activity for 7 days to prevent spreading the infection to partners. It is important to take all of the medication prescribed to cure chlamydia.
I started taking Zithromax yesterday for a upper respiratory infection. So I took two yesterday and one today so far. I have this horrendous deep dry cough that has me up now for two straight days. Can you please tell me when I might start feeling better and when I will not be contagious anymore? Thank you so much for your help!
