I need to know if it’s true if I take 2mg vs 5mg, I won’t feel it as good as I would if I just took the 2mg? Is this true - sometimes the less you take the more you feel?
Xanax - Taking less of Xanax can make you feel better than taking more?

The downside side is that you will eventually build up tolerance. 2mg should do the trick but 5mg is way too MUCH. Personally speaking I despise any benzodiazepines and taking small or large doses you will definitely build up tolerance as I said above. You should stay away from benzodiazepines and try something else.

I agree. Since I was 9 years old I was prescribed them for abuse, PTSD, and a severe anxiety problems. The only other thing that help is Klonopin but I heard that micro dosing or taking less sometimes you feel a little better. Thanks for your opinion
You are welcome. I am sorry if I seem a bit harsh. But I hope you feel better.
Thank you, appreciate your honesty
It all depends on why you take it, what your issues are (anxiety, depression, both... ) and how long you have been taking benzos. I agree with the others that these are not drugs for the long term, only to be used for a few weeks/months at most. While not everybody builds up tolerance, most will. 5 mg per day is high dose and certainly if you can manage with 2 you should try to do so--and yes, will likely feel better on 2 as opposed to 5. Bottom line is, take as little as you can for as short a time as you can--if you don't absolutely need them don't take them. But if you have been on 5 mg for any length of time you will likely need to slowly go down to 2 mg or you will feel w/d symptoms.
