... symptoms if any but my symptoms, Sweating racing heart beat anxiety make me feel like I'be been on them for years . I would usually take the full dose in the morning and be ok till the next morning . but today was different . around 2pm I felt like I was having a panic attack but it went away within 20 minutes or less then around 5:30 the anxiety and sweats came back again.
Called doc he said I need to spread out the doses to maybe .25 3 X a day and he is very surprised
that i was having withdraws with such a low dose and only on them for a short time. So I guess my question is do the waves of withdraw symptoms get further apart as time goes on or do they get worse before it gets better ?
Been on Xanax 0.75 once a day for about a month. Doc says I should have very little withdraw?

GARY; yes it is really rare to have withdrawals on such a low dose but you never know you could be very sensitive. So do as your doctor says and when you can feel you can do it break even that pill in half but it should not get worse before it gets better on this dose. But even just us worrying about it is enough to give us problems the fact that we are not taking it etc. Don't worry it should not get that much worse. good luck to you
Thank you Chuck. Even
My doc is surprised im going thru withdrawls
But i cantbthinj of anytging else it could be. Never felt like this till i started trying to get off of it
Hey Gary. To me this is a high dose. I'm very sensitive to meds & .75 is high to start off on. I'd think that any well-learned professional would have told you about the side affects first and would have started you off on .25mg. Not the other way around.
All the doctors that I have had in the past 16years (four of them) didn't have the required skills necessary to help me withdraw from Xanax. I needed to do a lot of my own research to find the facts! So don't feel bad because you now know how these 'medications can take control over your actions & reactions to them. I'd take a .25mg ONLY as needed and taper from there under your doctor's supervision. Don't let yourself get trapped in a routine & think that you need these because if you are not careful you can very easily get addicted. Don't just take my word for this... do your own homework!
Good luck to you and best regards.

no no KEVIN ADD THIS UP AND SEE IF IM WRONG HE IS ONLY TAKING 0.25 UP TO 3 TIMES A DAY FOR THE LAST 6 TO 8 WEEKS THIS IS NOT EVEN 1MG BUT HE TYPED IT AS 0.75 WHICH IS 3 TOTAL OF THE 0.25MG I just want to make sure I'm not making a mistake here. it's just these darn doctors do not take the time to detox us wright Such as of that total he should be dropped only 1/2 of the 0.25 total which would be 0.125 less and keep that for a week or two then continue at that rate thanks for helping me these darn. get confusing at times it sounds like you have had a lot of the same problems I have had with these doctors. I hope you see what I am saying this is for a very sensitive person Thanks a lot of guys I just want to make sure I'm not off. your friend
