What will happen if I only take half of viagra and use the other half on another date. thanks?

I have a prescription for 100mg. viagra tabs and I split them in two as prescribed by my doctor. This way I can double the quantity for the same price.

Viagra is available in 25mg, 50mg & 100mg, why do you want to break it into half?
It would perhaps have the same effects, however please do talk to the doc/pharmacist who prescribed the med.
